Security handover for development studios and agencies
Hand over findings in terms of customer workflows. For each promise, identify the tested build, observed behavior, limitations and person responsible for the next step. The client can then accept one item or ask for a specific correction.
What to prepare
Agree the environment, test identities and critical actions before the demonstration. For example: a customer reads only their own invoices, a manager reads team invoices and a guest cannot download private files. Confirm authorization and scan boundaries.
Verification procedure
Prepare a client view and a developer view
Give the client the product promise and the decision. Give the developer the method, route, fixture IDs, expected behavior and sanitized evidence. Connect both with one scenario ID and remove tokens and real customer files.
Agree the retest before signing off
List gaps, blockers and fixes with their build identifiers. Give each disputed finding an owner, a retest date and a closing condition. After the fix, retain evidence for both the allowed and the denied action.
