Terms of Service

Last updated:

1. Provider and service

Scantelio (scantelio.com) is an automated security testing service for websites, APIs and project dependencies. The software provider is Individual Entrepreneur Ostapenko Daniil Viktorovich, Kyrgyzstan. The provider details supplied for publication are listed below.

These terms govern use of the service. By creating an account or requesting a scan, you confirm your authority to accept these terms for yourself or your organization. If you disagree, do not run checks or purchase a subscription.

2. Authorized use

Only test systems you own or have explicit permission to test. Before scanning a website or API, the service requires target control verification through a DNS record or verification file and separate consent to test; the server blocks scans without them. Domain verification does not replace authorization from data owners, infrastructure owners or third-party providers. You are responsible for the lawful provision of targets, test accounts, files and instructions.

Unauthorized access, extraction of other people’s data, malicious activity, disruption, circumvention of service limits and infringement of third-party rights are prohibited. We may stop unsafe runs and restrict access for violations.

3. Checks and limitations

Coverage depends on the plan, project configuration, supplied routes, dependencies and credentials, target availability and run budget. Reports distinguish completed, skipped, inapplicable and incomplete checks. No findings is not a security guarantee, certification or legal compliance assessment.

Active scenarios requiring staging and separate consent in the interface may run only after those requirements are met. Use dedicated test accounts and data, and maintain backups. Even authorized checks may create load or affect the application under test.

You evaluate recommendations and validate changes before deployment. Scantelio does not promise detection of every vulnerability, absence of false positives or continuous availability of external sources.

4. Accounts, plans and access

Keep control of your account and team invitations, grant minimal necessary permissions and report suspected unauthorized access. Service scope, check limits, result retention and available features are determined by the selected plan and settings shown before purchase.

Paid access is activated after payment confirmation. If purchasing is unavailable, mentioning Paddle in these documents does not mean payments are already being accepted.

5. Purchases through Paddle

For orders placed through Paddle, Paddle is the Merchant of Record for the transaction and Scantelio provides the software service. Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Refund Policy apply to the purchase; these terms govern use of Scantelio.

The final price, currency, taxes, billing period and renewal terms appear at checkout. Subscriptions renew at the stated interval unless renewal is cancelled before the next charge. Manage purchases and cancellation through the Paddle link in your order confirmation or paddle.net. Cancelling renewal and refunding a previous charge are separate actions.

6. Data and intellectual property

You retain rights to your data and authorize processing necessary to perform checks, generate reports and provide support. Do not submit data you lack authority to share; use anonymized test data where possible.

Scantelio’s interface, documentation and software are protected by applicable intellectual property rights. Third-party components remain subject to their licenses. Personal data processing is described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Termination and responsibility

You may stop using the service and cancel subscription renewal. We may suspend access to prevent abuse, legal violations or security threats, or for non-payment. Contact support about access and obtaining your data.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for harm caused by unauthorized use, incorrect input data or changes independently made by the customer. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or restrict mandatory consumer rights.

8. Contact, applicable law and changes

Contact owner@scantelio.com or use the public support form for Scantelio service questions. For Paddle orders, payment support is also available directly at paddle.net.

Relations with the Scantelio provider are governed by the laws of the Kyrgyz Republic, without removing mandatory protections available under applicable law. Paddle’s terms separately govern the relationship between the buyer and Paddle.

The current version and its date appear on this page. Material changes affecting an existing paid service will be communicated before application, except urgent measures necessary for legal compliance or security.
